A note from Quinn's Mom:

Lately we have been hearing an exciting new sound in our house....the pitter patter of little feet! As Quinn experiments with his newfound confidence in walking this new element has been added to the noises that are always present in our home. If you have ever heard a three year old crawl on hardwood floors, you know that it isn't a quiet experience. Today, as I sat in the living room watching television I heard an unfamiliar noise come from the kitchen. It was Quinn walking back and forth with his halting heavy steps! When I realized that was what I was hearing it struck me that our lives were finally changing. I have sat there and listened to him crawl back and forth a hundred times....I always have to listen because my boy is so mischevious! This sound of walking versus crawling was music to my ears, and not just because it was a good bit quieter. My amazing son Quinn at the age of 3 years and 7 months is finally taking his first steps into the world of the walking. I can't wait until he decides to completely leave his crawling behind so he can finally explore his world the way it was meant to be experienced. I am just so happy and proud of my little boy, I had to hijack his blog and share!

Quinn walked all over the mall independently! He especially liked this bridge because there was running water under it.

Long time no post! Sorry about that. Mommy just posted a few pictures of me on Cooper's Blog if you want to go look. http://cooperdavid.blogspot.com/.

I have been walking more lately but today I was really into it! Even though I was in my footy pajamas and was on the hardwood floors (slippery!) I spent all night just walking around the house! I had my new favorite toy, my plastic froggy, and I was making him walk all around the living room, kitchen and dining room. I needed two hands to do it right so instead of holding onto the wall or crawling I just walked. I walked right through the middle of the kitchen and right through the middle of the dining room! Mommy was amazed. I am usually afraid to walk on the hardwood floors even barefoot! Mommy says that I should take my froggy with me everywhere and then maybe I could finally become a full time walker!!!
