All hail Boobah!

This is the only time Quinn and Cooper can be this close and not start pushing each other!

Today I skipped school and went to a party at my friend Jack's house. It was sooo fun! Everyone was so happy to see me, since I haven't been around much since I started school. They were also all impressed with my walking, everything at Jack's house was so close together I barely crawled at all! I played with Jack and some other kids. But Jack is my favorite special friend, he really "gets" me and he and I played so nice together today!

Mommy helped me decorate a bag for trick-or-treating. It has my name on it! Then when she wasn't looking I managed to unlock the screen door and escape to the front porch. Good thing there were lots of mommies around, cause one of them found me sitting out there before I got in too much trouble.

It was a really fun day. Tonight I got to watch Deal or No Deal with G.G. Berta, that was really fun too!

I had a really good day in school today. I walked a lot! Then Grandpa Don came and picked me up early to take me to speech. We went to McDonalds for lunch and then to Loyola. Afterwards we went home and hung out until Grandma Jan got home, then we all went to Chuck E. Cheese. I was supposed to spend the night, but I didn't because my field trip tommorow is cancelled! Darn rain! Mommy already told the busdriver not to pick me up, so instead of school I am gonna go to a party at my friend Jack's house. Wooohooo, only 3 and already playing hookey!

The field trip is gonna be rescheduled for next week, so all is well. It better stop raining by then though!!!

Apparently Mommy isn't going to let this whole "walking" thing go. This morning while we were waiting for the bus she made me practice again and again. I did awesome, in case you were wondering. Mommy moved my stroller down the sidewalk and then I practiced walking to it on my own. I like walking outside.

I had a great time at school today. We glued little pumpkins onto paper, I love gluing. I did come home with my emergency pants though. I guess Ms. Carol didn't understand me when I told her I was gonna pee....while she was changing my diaper. Whoops!

Tonight Mommy made Mac & Cheese with hot dogs for dinner. I don't usually like either of those things, but tonight I couldn't get enough. I ate a whole bunch! Mommy said I will never have Macaroni & Cheese as good as hers, unless I marry a southern girl.

We got a new tent! This one is just for kids and we are going to use it while traveling. Much better than lugging around two pack and plays! Cooper thought it was a pretty fun new toy.

Quinn likes the tent too, but he wasn't in the mood to pose for pictures!

Today Mommy picked me up from school again and we went to McDonalds and then speech. It was so much fun! I was so excited to be at McDonalds that I kept talking and making happy noises really loud the whole time. I was especially excited cause there were some other little boys there and I really liked watching them play.

Then we went to speech at Loyola and it was really fun. Me and Alison get along really well. Last time she had lame music that I didn't want to dance to. This time she downloaded some special songs just for me and they rocked! Elmo rapping, does it get any better than that???

Today at school I took two steps on my own! Miss Carol and Miss Ronnie were so excited, they never saw me do that before.

I'm not actually allowed to walk up and down the steps of my bus anymore...bummer.

Today I didn't take the bus home. Mommy came right to school and picked me up. We went to McDonalds for lunch and then Speech at Loyola. It was so much fun!!! I think that was the first time me and Mommy ever went out to eat alone. We had a really great lunch together and I am so excited cause we are gonna do that every week now! After I chowed down on my nuggets and fries we went to speech. I have a new therapist named Alison. She is really nice. She is from Canada so I guess we will really be concentrating on the "eh" sound, eh? Sorry, Mommy can't resist a good Canada joke.

I was so worn out from my long day I fell asleep on the ride home....before we even got out of the parking lot!

Today when the bus came to drop me off at home I didn't take the lift down like usual. Instead the bus driver got off carrying my stroller, handed it to Mommy, and said....."he doesn't need this anymore, he can walk." Well, poor Mommy almost had a heart attack! She thought the bus driver was saying I could suddenly walk all on my own. Sorry Mom, but instead I came toddling down the bus steps holding the rail with one hand and my aids hand in the other. Even though that isn't independent walking it is at least a small "step" in the right direction, right?

So from now on I will be getting on and off the bus like a big boy. Mommy still has to check if they need my stroller at school though.
