Things are going pretty good with my big boy bed now that I have a rail on it. Now the only problem is that while I am playing I seem to always get stuck in that small space between the futon and my bed. This is how Mommy found me this morning, I was happy but really stuck!

So Mommy decided to push the futon right up against my bed and put pillows in the small space between the futon and the wall. This is how she found me during my nap.

I was sound asleep and snoring. Sorry Mom, I just can't seem to stay out of these tight spaces!

Did you know I was sick? I was...sick, sick, sick! Since Thursday really but it got worse instead of better. I had so much snot that it was caked on my face and hands because I won't let Mommy clean it. Then I got a terrible rash, it was miserable. Daddy took me to the doctor on Monday and I have a sinus infection, this is my second one this year! After a few days on antibiotics I am finally starting to feel a little better. Still not good enough to go to school tommorow though, I am missing the whole week! The school nurse even called Mommy today to make sure I was okay. Apparently if you miss three days you are supposed to call! Whoops, its okay Mommy, we are still new at this school thing.

I finally got a rail put on my new bed so I don't roll out in the middle of the night anymore. It isn't a long fall, but it does wake me up and makes me mad. Of course, I have still gotten stuck in the tiny space between the bed and the futon a couple of times but that is while I am awake. I am such a little stinker!

Mommy, Cooper, Grandma Berta and Grandma Donna are all sick too. I guess that was my fault, sorry! Mommy and Cooper are now on antibiotics just like me so things are looking up. Hopefully we will all be better in time to enjoy our weekend!

Big Boy Bed!

So...yesterday morning I tried to climb out of my crib. I fell and hurt myself, I must have bit my tounge cause there was a lot of blood and I was really upset. It was all worth it though cause now I get to sleep in a big boy bed!!!! Mommy and Daddy bought me one at Ikea yeterday. It is a twin size so there is lots of room for me and it is low to the floor so if I fall out I won't hurt myself. When Mommy showed me my bed tonight I got so excited! I had a huge grin on my face and was so happy that I finally get to sleep in a big bed. Mommy was worried that I would play and get into stuff and then fall asleep on the floor, but I didn't. Fifteen minutes after she turned off the light she checked on me again and I was sound asleep in my bed with my head on the pillow! I am such a good boy!!!

Today was fun even though we couldn't go out with Grandma Jan and Grandpa Don. Instead we went to the mall with Mommy and Daddy! I had a great time. I walked all over the mall all by myself (I refused to get in the stroller). The whole time I was so happy to be walking that I kept laughing and flapping my arms. Even though the mall was really crowded I did a good job of not walking into anyone. I am getting to be a pretty fast walker too!

We went to the food court and had Chic-fil-a for dinner. I ate 7 nuggets and half a thing of fries, it was sooo good. Then we walked to the play area and me and Cooper had a great time playing there. I especially like standing in front of the mirror and dancing.

I am so glad I can finally walk, the mall is much more fun when you don't have to sit in a stroller!

Grandpop Bill decided to go to school with Quinn today! They both had a great time and Grandpop took lots of pictures!
