Today Mommy, Portia, and me went to Grandma Donna's house to help take care of her. We are going to spend a couple of days here. I had a lot of fun playing with all the cool toys they have in this house. I liked playing with Grandma even though she can't hold me yet. Grandpop Bill is as fun as ever, he even came home at lunch so he could see me. Then a nice lady named Annalise stopped by and she played with me and gave me a really neat gift. Two foam books that have pieces I can take out, they are really neat! I miss my Daddy a lot, but besides that it has been a great day!

Today was Memorial Day so Daddy had the day off! We all went on a family walk along the old trolley trail and that was really cool. I loved looking around at all the trees and stuff. I really liked it when a dog would go by us and Portia would totally freak out, it was really funny. Everyone who saw us said how cute me and Portia were.

Since it was a holiday we went out to dinner. We went to the buffet place and I slept part of the time cause I was pretty worn out. But when I woke up Mommy gave me a french fry and it was so yummy. I really chewed on it and even ripped off a big chunk with my gums. I am getting better at this eating stuff everyday!

Fun, fun, fun! That is what today was! We got to spend almost all day at Grandma Donna and Grandpop Bill's house. Grandma wasn't feeling great so she didn't hold me much, but we did play. Of course me and Grandpop played a bunch, he is such a silly guy. He bought me this really neat backpack that I sit in so now we can go hiking together. We took a walk around the block in it today and it was pretty cool. After that me and Grandma took a nap in her big bed and it was almost as comfy as Mommy's! Then Grandpop Bill came and joined us. I really liked napping with both of my grandparents. I ate a Cheerio all by myself today! I am really starting to get the hang of this feeding myself thing. Mommy also fed me some couscous, I am not too sure about that stuff yet...

We tried to go on a family walk today, but it started to rain so we didn't get very far! Too bad, I was really enjoying looking all around and helping to hold Portia's leash. Instead we went to Grandma Jan's house a little early. I showed her and Grandpa Don how good I am getting at sitting and how I can catch and push the ball. They were pretty impressed, but I refused to commando crawl for them....I just wasn't in the mood. I had lots of fun and tons of food. I ate broccoli, cheerios, and chunky pears, plus all my regular food!

And tommorow we get to go see Grandma Donna!!! What a fun filled weekend!

I had the best day today! Mommy and me went to a playgroup this morning and there were lots of kids around my age. I liked watching them so much that I sat up by myself for almost the whole 2 hours! I sat alone for at least 30 minutes at a time without falling or getting any help from Mommy. She was pretty impressed with me! Maybe if she brings me next week I will crawl!

Then we went to Sam's Club, which is always interesting. Mommy gave me a taste of her popsicle sample, it was good, but too cold. Then we went home and we all watched the Aviator, it was a pretty good movie. When I grow up I want to fly planes too!

It was a good day. I sat a little, played a lot, and smiled tons! Mommy and me played with my ball some more. I get all excited when she rolls it to me, I am getting pretty good at catching it. I ate a little bit of a wagon wheel all by myself today, and fed Portia all of my cheerios.

Nothing too exciting happened today, maybe tommorow!

Today was great! I had to work on my sitting of course, but Mommy made it fun! She sat me up against the sofa and we rolled the ball back and forth. I even figured out how to push it so it would go to Mommy! Everytime I did she clapped her hands and cheered, I loved that!

I also commando crawled using both arms all the way across the living room today. I had to so I could get my tupperware bowl. Mommy cheered a lot when I did that too! Plus I went up on my hands and knees 3 times today all by myself. Mommy said it was a very good Gross Motor Skills day....whatever that means.

Another fun weekend! I got to spend extra time at Grandma Jan's on Saturday and it was such a nice day I even got to roll around in the grass again! I really liked playing with my ball at Grandmas and it was helping me sit, so when I got home Mommy had a new ball waiting for me! It has Spongebob Squarepants on it and I like it!

On Sunday Grandma Donna came over and her, Mommy and me went to a birthday party! It was my friend Jason's 2nd birthday, he is 3 times my size! I really liked playing with all of his cool toys. And his big brother Jared was just the best. He played with me the whole time even though there were other big kids there. I liked him a lot!

It was a great weekend and I am really doing good on my sitting!

Today was my 13 month birthday, but it was a lot less exciting than my 12 month birthday! It was really rainy all day so we didn't go out. I watched Higglytown Heros and JoJo's Circus and I sat for almost a half hour. I did fall a couple of times, but Mommy fixed me. I am getting pretty darn good at this sitting stuff, but I still would rather lay down and play.

Tonight we went to a new restraunt for dinner. It was a buffet, which is good news for me, cause I got to have vanilla ice cream for dessert! Mommy decided that since I was such a good sitter now, I could sit in a highchair like regular. They had really comfy highchairs at this place so I didn't even need my special highchair thingy. I sat really good the whole time, I even messed with Mommy and Daddy by dropping my toys all over the place! It was fun. Then we went for a walk at the mall, that was fun too. I am off to Grandma Jan's house tommorow.....

I had a very good day today. This morning I sat for a whole 5 minutes all by myself while I was watching Sesame Street. Then I sat some more when I was playing with my new turtle. Then I was all done sitting for the day and refused to show off for my OT. But I did impress her by taking all of my blocks out of my bucket. She made me do it one at a time even though I kept trying to show her that it is easier if you just dump it! Then I took all the rings off their stand and put them back, one at a time again...see above comment about an easier way to do it! After that I was pretty exhausted, but it was good because Mommy was really proud of me.

I also spent a lot of time today playing with Cheerios on my highchair tray. They are fun to play with but I don't think I feel like eating them yet, instead I just feed them to Portia.

My teacher came over today and that was fun. She brought a bunch of cool toys with her, not that I need anymore toys. I personally prefer to play with my new turtle, he is really cool. I cooperated for a little while, but I was kinda sleepy while she was here. She did say that they are getting a new speech therapist so maybe I will get speech soon.

I had a good day. I didn't spit up as much, but that Zantac still really tastes bad! And I really didn't want to sit today. I think Mommy is getting frustrated. Not much else going on.

Today was a pretty good day. I got to play a lot and I watched my Signing Time video. I really like that video and it makes me want to play with my hands. I also played with my tool-bench a lot today, that thing is so cool!

When Daddy got home me and him watched the last episode of Star Trek. He is pretty sad that his show is ending, but I gave him a big hug to make him feel better. When it was time for bed Mommy and me cuddled under her blanket in her bed. I love cuddling with Mommy in her bed and I laughed and cooed until I fell asleep.

What a fun weekend! Saturday I got to go over to Grandma Jan's house which is always so much fun. Then today we went over to visit some of Daddy's friends. They have 3 dogs like Portia and it was so neat seeing them. We got to play outside on their deck and it was a really nice night out. Then I got to have some ice cream for dessert! The best part was that I got a bunch of really cool birthday presents from them.

The only low point of the day is that Mommy gave me my Zantac for the first time. All I can say is YUCK! I can't believe I have got to take that 2 times everyday! Maybe it is an aquired taste.

Today was fun. I got to spend a lot of time playing with Daddy which is always good. Then we took a little car ride to do an errand. Thank goodness for that cause I hadn't pooped in two days and nothing gets me going like a ride in the car! I feel much better now.

The best part of my day was that Grandma Donna and Grandpop Bill came over to see me! They were on their way to West Virginia to go hiking. And lucky for me we live on the way!! I had a good time playing with Grandma's shoelace. Then when Grandpop got there things really got nuts. He is so much fun! They didn't stay too long and after they left we watched National Treasure. It was a good movie and I highly recommend it. There is lots of action and it is so much more exciting than Teletubbies!

Well, we didn't get to go anywhere today cause Mommy was sick! I felt really bad for her, being sick is no fun. We didn't get to play quite as much today cause Mommy wasn't feeling well, but we still played a bunch. We read a lot of books and I rolled all around playing with all my toys. Mommy even pushed me around in my wagon a little. When Daddy came home me and him played a lot, I love Daddy so much, and I miss him during the day. The good news is that he doesn't have to go to work tommorow, I love Happy Fridays!

Tonight I was a very good boy, see I usually scream and cry for at least a half hour before I will fall asleep. But since Mommy wasn't feeling good and cause she really wanted to watch The O.C., I just cuddled quietly in bed with her until I fell asleep. I really am a very good boy!

Mommy and me had a good day. Today was my first day of all milk and no formula. I liked the milk okay, but it was a little wierd cause my formula was never cold, and the milk is. I am getting used to it though. It didn't make me sick or anything so that is good.

Lindalee came over today and I showed her how good I can stand. She was really impressed with how I stood at my Leapfrog table. She said it looked very typical for my age, and usually I am not that typical. But since I have extra strong legs I can stand really good. She has high hopes for me and told Mommy that she thinks I am going to really do a lot of new things in the next few months, we will see.

I am kinda bummed cause I was supposed to have a playdate tommorow, but it was at a playground and it is supposed to rain! Too bad, I bet it would've been fun.

I had lots of fun today. Two really nice ladies came over to evaluate my speech. I decided to show off and I talked to them lots and did almost everything they asked me to. Mommy said I should have pretended I couldn't do all those things, cause now they don't want to give me a speech therapist. She should have told me that ahead of time, I am not a mindreader you know! Anyway, they were very impressed with me. They said I only had about a 20% delay, which is pretty good considering my extra-chromosome thing. They also thought I was the cutest, sweetest baby they had ever seen, no suprise there!

Tommorow Lindalee is coming over to play, and Mommy said we might go see some other kids.

I went to the Doctor today. It wasn't too bad. I got to play with that great paper again, but I did have to get 3 shots, ouch!

Dr. Crawford said that I am doing great! I weigh 18 lbs 14 oz and I am 29 inches long, that is really good! Now that I am so big I don't need to have that yucky formula anymore, so Mommy is gonna switch me over to milk this week. The doctor was really impressed with how strong I am and how well I am doing developmentally. He also couldn't believe how cute I am!

After the doctors I was pretty cranky, those silly shots always do that to me. Tommorow is my speech evaluation, that should be interesting.

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mommies out there!

Today was so much fun. I woke up kindof early and Daddy took care of me so Mommy could sleep in. When Mommy got up I gave her lots of hugs and smiles cause it was her day, Mother's Day. Daddy had already given her the gift we got her, it is an Ipod that plays lots of songs.

After a long nap, Grandma Jan and Grandpop Don came over to celebrate Mom's Day too. I gave Grandma a book of pictures of me. She really loved it. She brought me lots of new summer clothes and made me try them all on! I don't really like trying on clothes, but I do like making Grandma happy. We all had dinner and I got to eat some really yummy bread. It was a really fun day, I can't wait for Father's Day!

What a day! This morning I woke up really early and me and Daddy played a bunch. Then Mommy got up and decided to test me on how good I could sit up on my own, I did great! I sat up alone for a few minutes, and when I started to fall to the side I caught myself with my hands on the floor! Mommy said she could hardly believe how good I did and that she was so proud of me.

Then I went over to Grandma Jan's house and that was so much fun as usual. She took me outside and let me roll around in the grass just like Portia does! Ofcourse I got lots of cuddles too. Then when I got home Grandma Donna and Grandpop Bill came over. They brought Andy with them, boy is he goofy! He is in the Navy and is really nice, I liked him. I got to cuddle with Grandma a bunch too which relaxed me and really helped me sleep.

What a nice relaxing day! I love no therapy Fridays! I got to watch Boohbah and this new show called Higglytown Huggies or something like that. I sat up nice and straight in my laundry basket the whole hour and Mommy was very impressed. She is kind of easy to impress I have noticed!

Daddy came home early today and we all went to Outback for dinner. It was great because they seated us right under a ceiling fan! I played with celery, bread, and a straw! There are always lots of good things to play with when we go out to dinner. After dinner we went to Target and me and Daddy checked out the electronics section while Mommy shopped for clothes.

I had tons of fun today! Mommy and me got up early and went to playgroup! It was really fun, there were two girls there that were both almost 3, and a baby who is even smaller than me! I really loved watching the other kids, plus there were some really cool toys there that I don't have! I had a great time, I can't wait till we can go again!

After we got home we went for a short walk cause we had to mail some letters. That was fun too, but I think Portia enjoyed it more than I did. It was a really nice day out. Lindalee came over today too and she was really happy with my sitting. She was also really impressed when I showed her my commando crawl. She thinks I am doing great as usual!

I woke up really early today, so when Mommy came to get me she took me into bed with her so we could cuddle. Well, I didn't want to cuddle, I wanted to see what was on the TV! So with a little help from Mommy I sat up and stayed there (still with a little help from Mommy), for a long time. Mommy was very happy about that, she said that I am making great progress with sitting!

This afternoon the OT came over, she was also very impressed with me. I showed her how I can take blocks out of a bucket and how I know to hit my train to make it play music. She said I had mastered all of my 6-9 month skills and that my 10-12 month skills are emerging. I don't know what that means, but I know it is good!

The most exciting thing that happened today is I got an invitation to a birthday party! It is for Jason and it is a Blues Clues theme, I hope I can go!

My teacher couldn't come over today cause she was sick :(

That is okay, Mommy and me got to spend some extra time playing together and that is always good. I did some more of my commando crawling, but I am not that good at it yet, I only use one arm. Tommorow my OT is supposed to come over, I hope she doesn't get sick too!

After I woke up from my nap I didn't feel too good. I think I had gas or something. I fussed and cried and wouldn't let Mommy feed me. I eventually did, but I made her do it while I was in my excersaucer. I tried not to bounce too much cause she kept missing my mouth when I did. Then I was still fussy so Mommy, Daddy, Portia and I all cuddled in bed. When I started crying again Mommy tickled my knees, I really liked that!

I got a great suprise today! Grandma Donna came over for a little while after work, that was great. The rest of the day was kinda boring. I played with my toys. Mommy put out my floor piano for me, but then Portia came over and started walking on it. It played music and freaked her out so we had to put it away.

Tommorow my teacher comes over so we have to get up real early. It is usually pretty fun seeing her though. Maybe she will teach me something really neat!

I had the best time today! When I woke up this morning AJ and Jeffrey were still here, just like Mommy promised! I mostly watched them play video games for a while and then we all went to the mall. We went to lunch at a restraunt in the mall, and they didn't allow strollers. So I had to sit in a highchair like a big boy for the whole time! I did really good, I sat up pretty straight, ate some of Jeffreys fries and some of Mommy's mandarine oranges. There were lots of other babies in there and I was the best behaved!

After lunch we went to Jillians and Daddy, AJ, and Jeffrey played video games. I am not big enough for that yet, but Mommy put me on her lap and let me drive one of the video game cars. I grabbed the steering wheel and everything!

It was a fun day but I wish my cousins didn't have to go home. I love hanging out with the big boys, they are soooo cool!
